Our room guests enjoy complimentary use of all Geothermal Mineral Pools once your room is ready for check in and until check out. We are happy to introduce our Extended Pool Pass for all guests on the day of their departure. This allows guests to check out of their room and still have use of the Pools until 9:00pm day of departure The pass is $50.00 per person over the age of 2 years old. Complimentary use of lockers, changing areas and shower are included. This pass is not available on the day of arrival.

Our Check-In time is 3 pm, and Check-Out time is 11 am. Guests will be alerted via text to the phone number on file when your room is ready and prepared for your arrival. We remain committed to providing a clean COVID19 free guest room for all. We cannot extend early arrivals or late checkouts to allow adequate time for our housekeeping team to properly clean each guest room.

We offer four geothermal mineral pools with temperatures ranging from 84 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Calistoga is known for its spas, and Calistoga Spa Hot Springs is no exception. With eight massage rooms, volcanic ash mineral tubs, and steam rooms, we can accommodate individuals and small groups. We are not able to offer couples massage in the same room.

Many of our repeat guests have their favorite rooms, and we try to assign your room and location to your reservation at the time of booking. If you have a room request, please let us know when you make your reservation, and we will do our best to accommodate.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. At this time we do not accept Discover or Diners Club. A credit card is required to confirm your reservation. We post an advance deposit equal to the first night's room and tax charges to the credit card on file 72 hours prior to arrival. The registering guest must present the credit card on file and a photo identification to check in. This policy is for fraud protection for our guests and Calistoga Spa Hot Springs.

Volcanic ash is similar to fine sand (silicon) and is Mother Nature's natural skin purifier. Not only is it rich in minerals like sulfur, magnesium, and zinc, its exfoliating properties mean that it removes dead outer layers of skin while it cleanses the skin. Zinc helps heal inflammation. Magnesium salts alleviate inflammatory disorders of the skin and joints. Sulfur has been used to treat every conceivable skin irritation and infection, including acne. The sulfur in volcanic ash also is said to slow down a person's aging process because of its ability to protect against the toxic effects of pollution and radiation.

At Calistoga Spa Hot Springs celebrate our loyal guests by providing room rate discounts based on the following:
Guests who have stayed overnight in a guest room with a minimum of 20 stays since 2005 are entitled to a 30% discount off the Published Room Rate (VP30). Guests who have stayed overnight in a guest room with a minimum of 10 stays since 2005 are entitled to a 20% discount off the Published Room Rate (VP20).
Room rate discount eligibility is extended to only the person who has earned the discount registered into the room. Eligibility is not transferable to other guests.

The California Department of Health updated the mask-wearing guidance. In general, people do not need to wear masks when indoors or outdoors. However, per CDC recommendations, in areas of substantial to high transmission, people who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask in crowded outdoor settings or during activities involving sustained close contact with other people who are not fully vaccinated.

The guest rooms have been prepared and will be maintained per CDC standards. Our staff will not enter your guest room during your stay unless your room requires maintenance. This means housekeeping will not enter your room to perform stayover service. If you need additional items such as linens, towels, toilet paper, bath amenities, or kitchen items please call the front desk and we will be happy to deliver those to the bench in front of your guest room.
