Great Stay

We were very impressed with the service at Calistoga Hot Springs. Dusdee did a great job and came out to introduce himself and welcome my family for a wonderful stay. We will certainly be back

Gets better every time

Each time I visit, it gets better: the landscaping, the pools, the spa area. Staff were professional and polite and we received good massages from Cassie the evening we arrived. We left things in our room and the staff called us before we left Calistoga, which we are very grateful for! One small thing: there was a sock on the floor when we came in: wasn't cleaned up by housekeeping and our few dishes didn't get done. No big deal, only minor details.

Suggestions from a long time customer

Room, grounds and attendants, Leticia and Carmen were wonderful. Upon arrival the receptionist spoke so fast she was difficult to understand and failed to give us one, a warm greeting, the WiFi Password or spa towel information. Our treatments the following morning were at 9AM. The receptionist at 7:30 AM BEGRUDGINGLY gave us 30 minutes extra to check out given that the treatments did not finish until 11:15 AM. If we are using your facility to have a treatment I'd suggest graciously extending the check out time 30 minutes should be a courtesy. Finally, I called to make the treatment reservations and was asked if we would like Swedish massages or deep tissue. I was never informed about the price difference until it was time to pay. There was ample time to inform me at the time of my reservation as I had to check with my friend before completing the reservations which meant I called back and spoke with the same receptionist both times. I was not told when I called to make my treatment reservations that there was a a price difference between the Swedish and the deep tissue. There was ample time to tell me as i had to check with my friend which massage she wanted before completing reservation and I spoke with the same person both times. I was made aware of the price difference when it came time to pay. When we arrived the receptionist spoke so fast we both had trouble understanding her let alone felt welcomed or given information as to the WiFi password, spa towel policy, late check out policy or an "enjoy your stay". Since the treatments ended at 11:15 AM it seems that a gracious extension of 30 minutes to check out should be offered as a courtesy. Instead we were given a BEGRUDGING extension. Perhaps a lack of customer service training, low pay, or a combination of factors is responsible for the difference I noticed on this visit. I have always loved coming to this Spa and would not have taken the time to write this but I would like to continue to recommend it as i have.
